Working together with Q-Med Sweden, Jonathan Adi, Restylane Business Unit Manager held a workshop for two days. Q-Med send dr. Tom Van Eijk - plastic surgeon from Netherlands who has dedicated himself to anti-aging, especially dermal filler and Botox to share his knowledge. The first workshop was held at Miracle Clinic, Surabaya (14/11), was attended by 23 aesthetic doctors from beauty clinics like Miracle, Dermasense, Ageless, and others. The next day (15/11), a similar workshop held in the Med Spa Clinic Jakarta and was attended by 19 aesthetic doctors from various of beauty clinics such as Miracle, ERHA, Mardani, D&M, Rophelidya, and others.
The workshop is filled with presentations about Restylane and is continued with dr. Tom van Eijk presentation about The new injection technique, The Fern Pattern Technique and The Lip Tenting Technique which he found in 2007. The Fern Pattern Technique, injecting Restylane from two sides has more advantage than the standard injection technique namely the skin folds especially when the face moves become less noticeable, The amount of Restylane needed per treatment area is more less, and the results last longer. While The Lip Tenting Technique is not commonly lip enhancement, this technique injects along the lip line to increase the volume and creating a balanced lip contour. After the presentation, dr. Tom van Eijk also teaches the doctors to apply these techniques to their patients. For two days, the participants in each city are very enthusiastic joining the workshop.
