According to Landson PT Pertiwi Agung commitment that always support Continuing Medical Education and enhancing Proza's brand image as a herbal immunostimulant, therefore Landson PT Pertiwi Agung collaborate with PAPDI JAYA organizing a Symposium with theme "The Role of herbal immunostimulant in Disease Prevention & Treatment" which was held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 ago in the Aryaduta Hotel, Jakarta.
In this simposium there are three speakers, the first is Prof. dr. R. H. H. Nelwan, SpPD, K-PTI that told about his clinical experience with Proza, secondly is Prof. DR. Dr. Samsuridjal Djauzi, SpPD, K-AI that explain about the role of Echinacea / Polinacea for disease treatment and prevention, the third is DR. Dr. Siti Setiati, SpPD, K-Ger that explain about the role of Echinacea / Polinacea on immune status of Geriatric patients.
There are several differences between polinacea with echinacea extract contained in other immunostimulant products. Polinacea extracted from echinacea angustifolia plant, while other echinacea products are generally derived from echinacea purpurea plant. Polinacea also has triple standardization with three main components of IDN 5405, echinacoside and isobutylamides. Polinacea containing high molecular weight polysaccharides that makes Proza with it's polinacea more superior in it's immunostimulant properties than other echinacea products.
Number of Participants who attended was 278 doctors consisting of internist, pulmo and most of the GP. Besides being given door prize, at the time of going home, each participant was also given one small potted plants as part of Landson's Go Green campaign program.
